Donation offered to Rosmah was for Najib, court hears

FORMER Jepak Holdings managing director Saidi Abang Samsudin today told the Kuala Lumpur High Court that he had offered a political donation to Najib Razak in appreciation for his help to secure a solar hybrid project for the company. Saidi, the 17th witness in Rosmah Mansor’s corruption trial, said since he was unable to meet Najib, as the former prime minister was busy, he passed the political donation through his wife.
