Najib’s 1MDB trial ends early for Parliament vote

FORMER prime minister Najib Razak was excused early from his 1Malaysia Development Bhd graft trial at the Kuala Lumpur High Court today to enable him to vote in Parliament this afternoon. Judge Collin Lawrence Sequerah excused Najib at 11.15am after lead defence counsel Muhammad Shafee Abdullah sought the court’s permission to end early.
