Justice Suleiman Belgore gave the order following an exparte application filed by Okunbo and the Edo Attorney-General and Crusoe Osagie, the Special Adviser to the Edo State Governor on Media and Communication Strategy.
He also prayed for an interim order restraining the Edo government whether acting through the first defendant or second and their representatives or any other person however described. He further required an order restraining the defendants by themselves or any other person from causing to be published, circulating, further publishing, reporting or publicising the publication captioned.“Okunbo, Oshiomhole is making plans to disrupt Edo governorship election” by any means whatsoever.
