Communist China has destroy academic autonomy in Hong Kong.

Academic freedom of HK had been dead. If it is not a political decision, No other explanation. hkisgb HKisHome

This is an obvious suppression. We can't say anything against the government and no right to fight for democracy and freedom. All freedom fighters in HK are at risk of being fired, warned or silenced.

They forget the Hong Kong Dirty Cops attack the universities?

Shame on HKU.

He should thank God that he isnot killed by CCP YET. Right?

It is a clear interference to the academic freedom. The more CCP infiltrates, the less freedom we have.

ccp always hates intellectual. The cultural revolution is the best evidence.

Another evidence of the Communist China’s blatant infringement of academic freedom in Hong Kong. The tyranny uses every means to silence pro-democracy activists & scholars. NationalSecurityLaw StandWithHongKong

HKU is being under control by HKSAR(=CCP) Any Academic Freedom in Hong Kong? None! 5DemandsNot1Less HongKongNeedsHelp

Absolutely agree what he said that this marked the end of academic freedom in Hong Kong under ruled by CCPChina ! CCP_is_terrorist

Universities in HongKong are well-controlled by CCP. TodayHongKong

China destroyed Hongkong education, democracy and freedom in Hongkong. China want to build a dictatorship government in Hongkong But we never surrender! StandWithHongKong

No academic freedom if anything is pro-democracy in HK...StandWithHongKong

HKU is obviously being hijacked by China now - we suggest an immediate review to be conducted by your local universities on any research that is partnering with HKU.

A crystal clear evidence showing how politics interfere HK academic freedom

No more academic freedom in HK under NationalSecurityLaw. Tdy the pro-Beijing committee can get him removed, tmr it can be anyone who embrace freedom and democracy or 'threaten the country's safety' as claimed by CCP.

Professor Tai has organized Hong Kong most successful primary election that output the only basis for democratic if September Legco election is delayed. Suppressing him = violation of human rights. Must sanction the CCP who's involved.

He’s fired by ccp puppets. Universities nowadays everywhere are infiltrated by china spies and bootlickers, they don’t defend for freedomofspeech, instead, they embrace dictatorship and censorship for more RMB.

CCP shows the world again that it would not tolerate academic freedom and after years of infiltration, HKUniversity is now witnessing its reputation being tossed in the trash together with the freedom of HongKong people.

Let it go. The NBA and social justice players don’t think democracy in Hong Kong is important

Xi Jinping - it always starts with well meaning, then they become megalomaniacs - dismantle society, kill their citizens and then war

Devastating blow to academic freedom to be fired by the university. Similar cases happen here in the UK. Academics in UK also leftist anti liberal morons.

The west cannot win this fight against China. It’s high time UK & US come off their high horse and focus on their own internal problems. The political and economic mess in UK & US is enough to consume the 2 leaders. 3 millions Hong Kong to be given citizenship in uk. Laughs😎

Oh yes. It is about time. A law lecturer teaches his young students to break the law. He doesn't care how many young lives he destroyed, he only cares about his own interests and his shadowy backers' wishes.

We need the pro-democrat professor fired in Hong Kong here in the USA. We should trade him in exchange for getting rid of one of our leftist professors!

Good... quite frankly Hong Kong has had quite enough of these subversive activists and needs to get back to earning a living in peace....
