New South Wales police have appealed to the Supreme Court, arguing the Tuesday rally will breach public health orders.
Organisers said police do not have jurisdiction to cast any decision over the event after failing to confer with protestors. Protestor lawyers said Police Commissioner Mick Fuller made his intentions public before notifying group organisers.
