Right now, police and tfl workers have very little to do. I work in central London where you see them mostly just hanging out and doing fuck all. Stop in a couple shops and fine some people. Actually do something to help us get through this.

Large public gatherings are raves weren't allowed either and police officers were viciously attacked. Bus driver in France was beaten to death for asking to wear mask. Shop staff have enough abuse and stress already. Let's see how it's gonna be

These corrupt morons make a mockery of the guidlines by ignoring them themselves opening the floodgates for all other selfish morons to abandon said guidelines and now they want those same people to wear masks out shopping. Ain't gonna happen!

They need to kill the world economy before Nov US election

Does the minister really believe that the Police have enough time or resources to drive around looking for mask-less individuals? So when does recruitment of facemask Wardens start as the monetisation of coronavirus continues apace...

Preparing the mind set for when the real mark shows up.

This is typical of any politician, who are very good at making unenforceable laws. There’s no point in saying it’s the police who enforce laws when you know there are not enough police to enforce current unenforceable laws.

You know what. Seeing shops in the US with huge signs on the door saying ‘NO MASK NO ENTRY’ doesn’t look appealing to me and I wouldn’t go within 100yds of them. I see it as an odd way to attract custom, assuming that’s what they’re trying to do.

There aren’t enough resources to police criminals. So what chance have they in enforcing mask wearing? As usual, it’s all talk and nothing to implement it. It’s just a PR exercise.

Don't put the onus on frontline staff in shops. It's hard enough for them to enforce social distancing.
