Umno withdraws contempt proceedings against CIMB

Umno today withdraws its contempt of court filing against CIMB after the Court of Appeal ruled the party was entitled to the RM193 million in its account. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, July 6, 2020.

UMNO has withdrawn its application to initiate contempt of court proceedings against CIMB Bank after it received a favourable ruling from the Court of Appeal last Friday on RM193 million in disputed funds, Kuala Lumpur High Court was told today.Effective July 2018, access to full reports will only be available with a subscription.
