BORIS Johnson is looking at making a new law to stop thugs defacing war memorials, he revealed today.
It had previously been attacked by some protesters attending Black Lives Matter events - sparked by the death of George Floyd. Tory MP Andrea Jenkyns asked today during PMQS: "Following the disgraceful events of the last week with thugs defacing national memorials including Churchill and Queen Victoria, what will the PM do to uphold British values and uphold the rule of law?"
