There have been additional changes to. Whole non-nwhite families showing up at gun stores en masse buying firearms. Once copious amounts of ammunition are now bare shelves. There's been a solid mood shift in Texas.

I live in a small North East Texas town, fewer than 700 people, old families, diverse. There was a beautiful protest and prayer gathering in the town square. So proud to be a part of this community and of the world as millions of people say NO JUSTICE, NO PEACE.
Protesting is fine. I support peaceful protests. They are in the inner cities. If they start looting in the suburbs they will be met with harsh resistance. The people funding the protests are the most racist people on earth.

American police demonstrate they are collectively not mature enough to handle deadly force. Create two levels, with common patrols not equipped with deadly tools. Only police over the age of 26 and extra training, eg., SWAT, may be dispatched with deadly force. The Brits do this.

I’ve lived in East Texas. The bigotry and misogyny there is both real and terrifying. I was never happier the day I left it with East Texas in my rear view mirror. Not saying where I live now is perfect, it is not, but the difference is astounding.
