BREAKING: Court frees girl who killed attempted rapist

A Yaba Magistrates’ Court in Lagos has freed a 15-year-old girl charged with murdering a 51-year-old man Babatunde Ishola who allegedly tried to rape her.

Magistrate Philip Adebowale Ojo struck out the murder charge filed by the police against the Senior Secondary School 3 pupil, following advice from the Lagos State Directorate of Public Prosecution .The Director, Lagos State Office of the Public Defender , Dr. Babajide Martins, whose office defended the teenager bro bono, expressed satisfaction with the court’s decision.

I fear this may give leverage for ladies to murder men in cold blood and claim attempted rape because this news sets precedence for it. Don't get me wrong, I hate anything that looks like rape in all ramifications saynotorape.

Why was she in court to start with? Do you charge a minor outside the juvenile court system? Those who rushed to court need to be disciplined!!!
