People are forgetting that a SCOTUS confirmation hearing is not the same as a criminal case where there must be proof beyond a reasonable doubt. The hearing is a character judgment to decide whether the person is of good nature and suitable for such a powerful position.

If someone like Kavanaugh gets a Supreme Court nod, then no I don't believe in our justice system at all, because he would be there. Also, he's not on trial for sexual assault, which he should be. They are merely seeing if he's worthy of his next potential job, which he's not.

Ok. First and foremost, the hypocrisy of the statement itself is stunning. The fact that a man, who is currently under investigation, is allowed to choose a judge who could impact that investigation completely undermines the legitimacy of “innocent until proven guilty.”
So? I had to prove my innocence on much the same crap 20 yrs ago. Dubbed guilty by small-minded little people I still know by name. Their plan failed.
