Georgia attorney general seeks probe of local prosecutors in Ahmaud Arbery case

For many Americans, Arbery’s killing harks back to the old Jim Crow days when white mobs hunted black men down and killed them with impunity. In Brunswick, the shooting has sparked an uneasy conversation about race and power.

Many have expressed frustration with the investigation, suggesting the defendants’ race and law-enforcement ties protected them until the video was shared and outrage grew. Gregory McMichael is a former Glynn County police officer who worked 20 years as a district attorney’s investigator before retiring last year.

If this was just the opposite, 2 black males, killing a white male, just think how differently this would B handled! No justice n🇺🇸

Consequences to the two perps and everyone else involved in the cover up need to send a clear message to other racist troglodytes thinking what they did was a good idea.
