Malacañang has left to law enforcement authorities to file a case against a public school teacher who reportedly offered a huge reward to anyone who can kill President Duterte.

The teacher, who made the online post about the threat against the President’s life, has reportedly been arrested in Sta. Cruz, Zambales.

“Well, iyan po ay nasa kamay na ng ating mga law enforcement agencies. Hayaan po nating gawin nila ang trabaho nila,” Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said in a virtual press briefing Tuesday . “Kung mayroong prima facie case or any case, kasuhan siya at mabibigyan naman po siya ng pagkakataon na patunayan na hindi siya nagkasala sa ating hukuman sa takdang panahon,” he said.

The National Bureau of Investigation earlier announced the arrest of Ronnel Mas, 25, Tuesday after he offered on Twitter a P50-million reward to anyone who can kill the President. The high school teacher may reportedly face charges of inciting to sedition related to the country’s cybercrime law, and violating the ethical code for public servants. He has since apologized for his action.

Compassion is never a word for non DDS ..

the guy is handcuffed behind his back, as if he is capable of fighting down all those who are around him.

May kinikilingan yung batas natin noh.

While it's justifiable to ask Duterte to resign because of inefficiency & incompetency in managing the country, any assassination job doesn't bring justice to all the lives he helped put to death by encouraging EJK. He needs to be alive when its time for his own poetic justice.

Death threats to VP, VPs children, Sen Hontiveros, wala lang? NBI, BS!
