A group of Democrats seeking stronger oversight of coronavirus relief programs is introducing a new bill to force companies to report how they're using the funds.

Democrats behind the proposal -- which has the support of several prominent oversight advocacy groups, including the Project on Government Oversight and the liberal Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington -- have called on congressional leaders to include it in the next round of coronavirus legislation, but it's not clear if the effort will be included in the package.

Very little accountability from Congress regarding how our tax dollars are used, however.

We will never even know how much was given and to who, let alone how much they kept for themselves. It's a slush fund that we had to give them in order to get what everyday people needed, what a failure all the way around.

1. Who's going to review all that data? More fed employees needed? 2. Give the money away, then add strings ex post facto.
