Using COVID-19 to perpetrate human rights violations is executive rascality and Mr Wike must stop this now.

The Rivers State Government had earlier on Sunday demolished two hotels in the state allegedly for violating the lockdown order in the state. Governor Wike personally supervised the demolition of the structures in the company with some government officials. The affected hotels are Prodest Hotel in Alode and Etemeteh Hotel in Onne – both in Eleme Local Government Area of the state

He did all these simply because they violated lockdown order!

Biko, don’t threaten him any longer, sue the dumb misleading governor who is too full of him self.

The actions of the government Govwike is unconstitutional, unprofessional, inexperinced, unlawful and absurd. He is portraying full blown fascism. These actions should be challenged in court

Did the governor follow the law?

Next level of authoritarianism

I don’t know why the genes of some people flow with troubles over non issues. From the illegal detention of Pilots of Caverton helicopters to the illegal demolition of private properties for covid19, Wike has turned the accuser, judge and executioner. Executive recklessness.

I specifically condemn his action!! this is totally unacceptable, unconstitutional and gross abuse of power

Wike's action is barbaric, cruel and epileptic in nature, instead of him demolishing, why not convert it to an isolation center and NCDC will be grateful. Think it's more political in approach.

I pray this turns out to be good, bcos that so called 'immunity' would be an hindrance

If the case is won, the governor will still use tax payer's money to build another hotel.

They shouldn't be threaten him with legal action. Legal action should be taken against him specially when he leaves office because for now he's power drunk when is out of office his eyes will be clear.

Let's see what happens at the end

Controlling and curtailing the spread of a virus should not involve destruction. Destroy COVID19, not properties. Let offenders be tried in court and reasonable punishments meted out. Save the people from further torture. K 😀😀😀 But the man 👨 did issue the the executive order so what would we have him do
