In a filing Thursday, the interim U.S. attorney for the District of Columbia, former Barr advisor Timothy Shea, argued that the FBI's interview of Flynn was not justified by a counterintelligence investigation, and that his lies about what he said to a Russian diplomat were not "material" to that probe.
"I left a job I loved because I believed the department had abandoned its responsibility to do justice in one of my cases,"At the time, I thought that the handling of the Stone case, with senior officials intervening to recommend a lower sentence for a longtime ally of President Trump, was a disastrous mistake that the department would not make again," he wrote.
Kravis wrote that in both Stone's and Flynn's cases "the department undercut the work of career employees to protect an ally of the president, an abdication of the commitment to equal justice under the law," Kravis wrote. "For the attorney general now to directly intervene to benefit the president's associates makes this betrayal of the rule of law even more egregious," Kravis wrote.
"Barr's decision to excuse himself from these obligations and attack his own silenced employees is alarming," Kravis wrote. "Where is the evidence of those commitments in other cases that do not involve friends of the president?," he wrote.
Those were unlawful set-ups by the FBI. Barr returning to equal justice, not Obama era political persecution and extortion of innocent people.
ObamaGate
It's not too late to start reporting the truth! obamagate

All CNBC tweets that reference President Trump are negative. Not one positive tweet. Prove me wrong
.......WTF did you think he was going to say...'Great job'?
So shocked that CNBC would have this opinion 🤣😃🤣🤣
I'm not siding with Flynn, Barr or Trump; But when you've been wrongly accused of something, and had to sit in jail and lose your job, apartment and vehicle... Well, I'm not siding with our one-sided justice system that constantly lock up black men for nothing, either!...
It wasn't intervention for 'Trump allies' but adherence to the rule of law, and bring to light the abuses of the previous administration, who will do or say anything to save themselves.
CNBC frauds need to be held accountable for 5 years of deceiving the democrat population. Complicit in ObamaGate
Obama is the most corrupt, THUG, slime ball president America has had. He weaponized the justice department against his political opponent like he was Stalin.
Congress must force Barr to resign—he is trump’s lap dog 💩💩💩— he doesn’t serve the American people & that’s the truth 🤥🤥🤥🤥🤥🤥
It’s too bad he didn’t quit when he found out about the systemic corruption.
“Quit”. Bet you he can’t disclose why he “quit”. Sounds like a bitter person who was probably removed. You might want to look or work with a better source before you go down his rabbit hole. Just saying.
Draining the swamp one by one. Exposing the treasonous criminals one by one. Keep up the great work AG BARR!
Call it what it is...STRAIGHT UP CORRUPT! This is not an administration of law and order. This is an administration of corruption. Literally organized crime from the so called most powerful man in the world.
Who quit in disgrace because they couldnt do the job?
She’s a swamp critter.
I’m looking for the reporting regarding the released documents and transcripts which appear to indicate a set up and targeting by the FBI and DOJ, along with withholding of exculpatory evidence. Seems like CNBC only reporting less than half of the story. 🤔
Loooool what a joke. Good reporting communist nbc
CNBC going to MSNBC. Keep your head in the sand about Obama.
NO ONE is above the law and that include OBAMA
Lol 😂 following rule of law is definitely egregious to obama era officials
Mike Flynn is a weasel.
