SINGAPORE — A duo will be charged in court on Tuesday for allegedly participating in a brawl in Bishan, which left a man with lacerations on his head and a fractured hand.

The men, aged 25 and 30, were arrested on Sunday afternoon, some 10 hours after a report was lodged at 5.40am, said the police in a press release. The third man, also 30, was found with the multiple injuries at Bishan Street 12 and conveyed conscious to hospital, it added. The duo will be charged for voluntarily causing grievous hurt by dangerous weapons with common intention."The police do not tolerate such brazen acts of violence and blatant disregard of the law. We will spare no effort to apprehend such offenders and deal with them severely in accordance with the law," the police said.Another brawl in the wee hours of the same day in Chinatown saw three people arrested for their alleged involvement.
