The Justice Department is dropping its prosecution of former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn, according to a court filing Thursday.

In court documents filed in U.S. District Court in Wasington, the Justice Department said it is abandoining the prosecution of the retired Army general after a considered review of all the facts and circumstances of this case, including newly discovered and disclosed information."
