Had the opioids' epidemic affected mostly minorities, Afro-Americans and Hispanics, I'm sure that the response would have been very different. History backs me up on that: The response to the 80s-90s crack epidemic was "lock 'em up," not "treat 'em." There was no compassion then.
How much funds are provided to help enforce and fund this initiative. I want to hear LOTS of billions. A signature in a “package” means nothing w/o funding. We are going to hold our leaders accountable if this is another political stunt. The battle against opioids better begin.
