Laura Kelly’s executive order that banned religious services of more than 10 people while the coronavirus pandemic is ongoing will remain in place.
IN PERSON CHURCH SERVICES. NOT FOR ME
Kansas supreme court strikes down two constitutional amendment rights at once “for their own good”
I’m making a list and checking it twice.
People make the mistake that this has something to do with freedom of religion. It doesn't. The executive order is restricting gatherings of more than 10....for ANY gathering, secular or not. By demanding an exemption just for Christians, Kansas GOP is violating 1st Amendment.
Let's not forget that Kansas was a national laughingstock with a lawsuit trying to ban the teaching of evolution in its schools, so nothing there should surprise anyone. It's one of our scary states.
Notice that all the governors that are restricting people’s rights, especially religious rights, are all Democrats. There is no length they will not go to choke away people’s religious freedoms!
Would’ve been devastatingly ironic for Kansas Supreme Court justices, who were holding hearings from *home,* to rule the opposite.
Read the article but I did not see where they talked about the court decision? Where is it in the article
So much for the religious right to assemble
Sanity prevails.
Good luck with that
HAPPY EASTER!!!

Look! A real Court
That's a Smart, Safe & Good thing do to. Kudos for making the Right decision 👏👍 EVERYONE can celebrate Easter virtually with as many people as they want to, without the risk of infecting others. 💯🙏
Test, Test, Test, Test for the Coronavirus! Or...we know nothing, or little, really. If Doctors know little to nothing of where the virus is prevalent, they and the scientists have no good answers to follow to theorize on more reasonable remedy.
👏👏👏👏👏My God. In how many ways can the church prove it’s lack of compassion and commitment to the wellbeing of humanity?
uh... these friars are NOT in Kansas. They're in the Holy Land.
The Supreme Court does not have the authority to 'allow' people to congregate for worship. The Constitution does not 'allow' people to do anything, it restricts the Government in it's powers, such as allowing or prohibiting people from gathering for Worship.
Allowing ? LOL
Anyone attempting to violate the order should be shot immediately for the safety of the general public.
