The evolution of the USA economy. Higher oil prices benefit the USA and North America more than they hurt it.
If there are cuts, then we’re looking at oil below $20 a barrel, which would mean that domestic oil suppliers in USA will be severely hurt and/or go out of business. We must protect the industry and its jobs to prevent us from going back to dependence on other countries for oil.
