Conservatives were always for expanded police and national security powers to keep us safe. Except Trump told them it’s a bad thing. Many Conservatives would turn on their own mother if Trump told them to.

Odd. They had no issues prior to patriot act. They had all the 911 perps on watch, just missed the target and didn't share info with others. Back to normal powers and learn to share, more eyes means more full knowledge.
