Cape Town – Two policemen tried to flee after being caught allegedly buying alcohol at a Strand liquor store during the lockdown.
"Two police officers, a supermarket manager and a cashier were arrested following a purchase and sale of alcohol in Delft," said national police spokesperson Brigadier Vish Naidoo on Saturday.
If someone that is supposed to set an èxample cannot abide by the rules, there is no grace, no bail. They are a disgrace. Let's not blame the system. People make the system what it is.
