THE Dutch Safety Board has praised the Malaysian team for their co-operation in recovering the cockpit voice recorder for Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17 at the crash site in eastern Ukraine, in 2014. Senior aviation investigator in charge Gijsbert Vogelaar said the recorder was a critical piece of evidence in the board’s investigation to identify the cause of the crash.
