Sky News host Peta Credlin says the news of 23 non-citizens awaiting deportation for serious crimes, who are now seeking to stay, “because they're suddenly claiming to be Indigenous” shows “the ramifications of the recent High Court decision”.

Ms Credlin said “there's little restraint on the creation of further special rights for Indigenous people; or indeed for anyone who arouse the sympathy of enough judges on the High Court bench. “Our citizenship legislation gives the minister power to deport 'aliens'… if they have committed serious crimes in Australia,” she said. “We're talking about crimes of violence, drug-running, rape, murder and sex crimes against children.

If they are claiming to be indigenous Australians then surely the claimhas to be proven before the deportation is abandoned.

What...really 😡😡

Woke Activist high court judges are a joke, they should run for office if they want to make immigration policy

Well it looks like anyone can claim without proof but why did they claim the citizenship of another country if they were indigenous

The laws of the land give individuals rights even residents who are citizens of another country, and it's done on a case by case basis. All facts are thoroughly investigated. 👍👍👍
