A woman accused of murdering two people whose bodies were found in their burnt-out home at Deception Bay, north of Brisbane, confessed her involvement to a friend, a court has heard. The court was told siblings April and Ian Bailey were killed before the house fire startedDefence barrister Catherine Morgan says Danielle Fels has been falsely accused of the murders

Prosecutor Danny Boyle told the court the siblings were murdered before the fire was started and knives were found near their bodies. "That achieved its purpose because no forensic evidence was found which would identify the involvement of any individual." Mr Boyle said that during the trial the jury would hear evidence that Ms Fels told a friend she knew of an"April" who had a large amount of speed and cash at her house and that"they intended to 'run-in' on the house as they were an easy target".
