'Teen jailed for possessing knife that killed schoolboy Yousef Makki pictured after losing bid to stay anonymous'

A TEENAGER jailed for possessing the knife that killed schoolboy Yousef Makki has been pictured after losing his bid to stay anonymous.

He admitted possession of a knife and perverting the course of justice by initially lying to police about what had happened, and was given 16 months in custody.Chowdhary, then 17, was acquitted of perverting the course of justice. He was given a four-month detention order after admitting possession of a flick knife.

At a hearing in London last month, his barrister Adam Wolanski QC said Chowdhary is suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder and that the publication of his identity would be "catastrophic for him".But, dismissing his application, Mrs Justice Steyn ruled that "the curtailment of the claimant's and his family's right to respect for their private and family life is, in my judgment, clearly justified by the compelling public interest in open justice".

KKookson Not sure if he has evil in his eyes at all.More like he no’s that his photo has been taken. I do believe they’re remorseful about this poor lad. I’ve seen people cry their eyes out in court and are relieved once they leave. But the rags will put a photo up of someone ‘smiling’ .

Why has all the headlines changed from 'the boy who killed' to 'the boy who was in possession'

He has evil in his eyes. Won't be last time we hear of him
