Al-Bashir, who was overthrown by the military last year amid a public uprising, is wanted by the ICC on charges of crimes against humanity and genocide related to the Darfur conflict.

The ICC first charged al-Bashir with involvement in crimes in Darfur on March 4, 2009, and again on July 12, 2010.With Sudan's Omar al-Bashir toppled and the military taking his place, Sudanese in Australia aren't letting revolution go without a fight.

Al-Bashir faces three counts of genocide, five of crimes against humanity and two of war crimes for allegedly leading the deadly crackdown by government forces and Janjaweed militia on the Darfur region from 2003. In the Darfur conflict, rebels among the territory's ethnic Central African community launched an insurgency in 2003, complaining of discrimination and oppression by the Arab-dominated Khartoum government.

The government responded with a scorched earth assault of aerial bombings and unleashed the Janjaweed.Along with al-Bashir, the ICC has indicted two other senior figures in his regime — Abdel-Rahim Muhammad Hussein, who was interior and defence minister during much of the conflict, and Ahmed Haroun, a senior security chief at the time who last month was named by al-Bashir to run the ruling National Congress Party.

High Court to rule on whether Australia can deport two Aboriginal 'aliens'Two Aboriginal men will learn whether the government can deport them when the High Court hands down a judgment on Tuesday. It would be racist not to deport them. Why should part of their DNA result in them getting different treatment to others? Their 'aboriginality' doesn't protect them. They aren't Australian citizens. The end, case closed. Total clickbait. They aren't even Australian, and both have committed serious crimes. You're a joke SBS. auspol pmlive outsiders

High Court finds two Aboriginal men are not 'aliens' despite being born outside AustraliaBreaking The High Court has decided two men who identify as Indigenous are not 'aliens'. Drain the swamp! circumventing ones crimes and betrayal of the community lived within by virtue of one's descent and heritage is outrageous, even more so when considering the absence of citizenship or birth within the country to which both claim recourse; identity is not a replacement for the law Quite simply we shouldn’t be allowed as the high court has decided, to put in place laws that mean Indigenous Australians can be deported. I am however not advocating for no punishment for crimes committed.
