Adrian Donohoe murder trial witness, a Credit Union volunteer, thought robber was going to kill her, trial hears

A credit union volunteer broke down yesterday as she told of the moment she thought a robber was going to kill her after she heard two loud bangs and saw one man fall to the ground, a court heard.and witnessed Det Gda Adrian Donohoe fall to the ground.

Aaron Brady, 28, has pleaded not guilty to the capital murder of Mr Donohoe who was on active duty on January 25, 2013, at Lordship Credit Union, Bellurgan, Co Louth. She told the court she saw one of the detectives falling to the ground and at first thought it was a “duck reaction, like he was jumping to avoid something”.
