Republican Senator Mitt Romney of Utah said US President Donald Trump is guilty of an "appalling abuse of public trust" and he will vote to convict him later at his Senate impeachment trial.
"The president is guilty of an appalling abuse of public trust," he said in a sombre speech on the Senate floor just hours ahead of the historic vote. Mr Romney said it was the "most difficult decision I have ever faced" and he expected he would come in for harsh criticism from fellow Republicans. "With my vote, I will tell my children and their children that I did my duty to the best of my ability," Mr Romney said.
Of course he said that 🤣
Does the Truth even matter to Trump and his Republican followers.
But Trump has had 3 wives. Must count for something.🤨
He failed to put the White Horse (prophecy) in to the stable. He is another sore loser.
