Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, wife of former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Abul Razak, arrives at the Kuala Lumpur High Court today. - Reuters: The High Court in Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor’s corruption trial was told that the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission has investigated the doctor from a private hospital who had issued the medical certificate to the former prime minister’s wife.
“This is intimidation, My Lord! Why did the MACC do this? Who directed the officers to go and interview the doctor? This should not be permitted at any form,” he said and asked the court to make an order on the matter. “I’m sorry, if this is the case, the individual should feel free to lodge a police report,” he said and ordered for the trial to start.
Justice Mohamed Zaini said he sympathised with Rosmah and had allowed a two-day postponement but stressed that he could not adjourn the trial dates any further.
