Judge Dhaya Pillay said the warrant is stayed until May 6 when the criminal proceedings against Zuma is expected to go back to court.
However the National Prosecuting Authority requested that the court issue as warrant of arrest as Zuma did not furnish proper medical evidence so they could"form a position" relating to his absence. Mantsha argued that Zuma's medical health was an issue of"national security" and that a sick note from the military hospital should suffice.She said it was standard practice in every court that if an accused is not in attendance and failed to produce a medical certificate, a warrant of arrest must be issued.
I hope this doesn't back fire on anyone. If its proven that Zuma is sick and all medical records show thwn its easy for Zuma to move on them and cry foul. Zuma's card now would be to prove that he is sick and then ask for another judge and get another court date.

Lies 🤥 The warrant of arrest hasn't been issued, NPA put an application to court for a Judge to issued a warrant of arrest and it hasn't been finalized yet.
