The Guardian, like many papers, leads on the government's"sweeping" legal changes to prevent the automatic release of terror offenders. It comes after the knife attack carried out by Sudesh Amman in Streatham on Sunday. Amman, who was shot dead by police after stabbing two people, had been released from prison about a week ago after serving half of a sentence for terror offences."Twisted" video games"in real life", the Metro reports.
Under the government's new plans, terror offenders will have to serve a minimum two thirds of their sentence before being considered for release. But the paper says the attempt to retrospectively force prisoners to spend longer in jail will be"fiercely contested".The Daily Express says hundreds of convicted terrorists are roaming Britain's streets having been released from prison early.
Look at the difference of reporting between a right wing terrorist attack which is called a mass shooting and no mention of religion etc, and an extremist who happens to be a Muslim is called terrorism even if he attacks one person and then words like Jihadist, Islamist are used
If the killer is white, there is no mention of his religion but being a Muslim his religion is specifically mentioned intentionally even though the person is more likely to be mentally disturbed but of course Muslims can’t be mentally ill according to the media,Jihadi is used
If you want proof of media, tabloid agenda and trying to defame a religion in a very clever and deceiving way via the media hype and consistency of this story while similar type of killing which just happened covered in a different way with no word of terrorism used.
It’s surprising when right wing extremist commit a terrorist attack anywhere in the world it is never hyped up and like in London if only a couple are attacked then if he is white it is ignored. Wake up Muslims and protest as the agenda goes far deeper than you realise.
Look at the papers as usual especially the Rupert Murdoch papers and the Times and the Telegraph all right wing and anti Muslims tabloids trying to hype up the attack and one paper saying 20 and the other one saying hundreds and not surprised as this is nothing new.
Human Rights only apply to humans, not sub species of primordial form.
Make up your mind - was the attacker Streatham or Sunday?
Im off to Canada
