A 24-year-old trader, Mustapha Umar, who allegedly sodomised a nine-year-old bor, on Thursday appeared in a Life Camp Magistrates’ Court, Abuja.The Police Prosecutor, ASP Peter Ejike, told the court that the complainant, Mohammed Nura, who resides in Angwan Berbe, Life Camp Abuja, reported the case at the Life Camp Police station on Jan.19.The defendant, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge.
She also ordered that the surety must be resident within the jurisdiction of the court and his or her address verified by the court officials. The magistrate ordered that if the defendant fails to meet the bail conditions, he will be remanded in a correctional centre.
