President Trump's impeachment trial resumes Wednesday with eight hours of questions from senators to the House impeachment managers and the president's defense team.

President Donald Trump's impeachment trial in the Senate is set to resume Wednesday afternoon, with the upper chamber poised to question his legal team and the House managers.

Questions will be submitted in writing on small cards, and Chief Justice John Roberts, who is presiding over the trial, will read each question out loud, along with the name of the senator who asked it. The relationship between the abruptly halted aid and the investigations Trump wanted is at the heart of the impeachment case.

GOP Senate leaders pressured senators to not call for witnesses in Trump trialNEW: Senate Republican leadership exerted strong pressure Tuesday on the party's senators to not call for witnesses in President Trump's impeachment trial, two sources familiar with the matter tell NBCNews. That sentence is so inherently wrong, not grammatically but ethically Trump’s kids have made millions in last 3 years just because of their dad being president so bringing Biden’s son for making $50,000 a month which is only $600,000 not even close to the millions that Republicans are saying. If Biden son has to come then Trump’s kids have to come They are cowards, afraid of the truth, allergic to facts. It's that simple.

For Republican Senators, Fealty to Trump Is the Only LawGeorgia Senator Kelly Loeffler and her husband donated $1.6 million to Mitt Romney in 2012. Eight years later, she isn't doing him any favors, siding with the president against Romney's call for John Bolton's testimony. I didn’t know she existed until I read this. You forgot the part about Romney groveling for Trump endorsement in 2012 and then again when he ran for Senate . Now he sticks knife in Trumps back with that sleazy rich boy smile and he is suddenly the darling of liberals .... like the way you all love George Bush now too 🤣
