The Supreme Court allowed the Trump administration a rule denying green cards to legal immigrants who use or are likely to use public aid

The court, in a written order Monday, granted the administration’s emergency request to start enforcing the rules for now, a move that nullifies an order by a federal appeals court that blocked the immigration restrictions while litigation was ongoing.

Starve now, maybe you’ll get a job later. Proud citizens showing real concern for humanity. Running America like a Nazi controlled Warsaw ghetto. It’s a crime to be broke in America. Now, everyone cheer this great accomplishment.

I support the President ok on this. I am an immigrant and i still remember that my husband had to issue an affidavit of support for me.

Cruel and unAmerican!!

Awesome!! This is why he’ll be re-elected in landslide in 2020.

Very concerning...that this wasn't done years ago. Trump rocks. We owe these people nothing. You may feel free to give them as much of your own personal money as you like mikey.

NationalistTV why would we let in immigrants who are a burden? how does that help america?

They're not legal anymore.

Good.

Why should a noncitizen get public aid?

Any country I want to move to will require me to show I can either support myself or have a business that will support me and local employees. Why should America be the exception and pay people to move to America. Insane.

This could be another major step into American Fascism. We all know where this is taking America.

Good. Now deport them.

Every country in the world other than the US has a similar policy.

This policy existed decades ago and was clearly stated on the application so I wonder who changed it?

Good. About damn time

So suddenly CBP and ICE are fortune tellers?! Obscene GiveMeYourTiredYourPOOR

DemoKKKrats want to put illegal immigrants on Medicaid. No. Never.

Our government's finances are in no shape to add more takers. The green card system must be a win-win for the individual and the USA. contribute givedonttake Immigration

Winning KAG AmericaFirst 🇺🇸🇺🇸

If you’re here to work why should you get public assistance?

I suppose this “new ruling” is “all inclusive” for all immigrants coming to the United States from “around the globe. Otherwise, we the people will have to question why “Russia, North Korea, & China (just 2 mention a few) would be immuned/exempted, you think 🤔?

this isn't a new policy at all, it's always been the standard. Previous administrations just stopped enforcing it, thus creating the mess we have today. Even today if you sponsor another person to the US, You are required to show that that they will not become a public charge.

Good ruling. Bad policy. Both of these can be true. Too often people think judges must decide based on policies preferences. That is not their job.

Bravo 👏

Totally cruel! What do you expect from the xenophobic majority, particularly Trump picks Gorsuch and Kavannaugh!

Oh my god

Nice. There's no reason green cards should be given to those who are taking taxpayer money

Great news

He got his court. Terrible ruling

How do u know they will use their green card b4 its issue
