Reading Mr Onyekamma’s resignation letter dated January 20, 2019, the Speaker disclosed his was as a result of ”convention and zoning”.

The Speaker then announced the defection of nine members of the assembly from their respective parties to the APC citing various reasons for their defections.Four members left the Action Alliance ; two from the All Progressives Grand Alliance and three other lawmakers from the Peoples Democratic Party . They all defected to the APC.

The Nkwere representative, Obinna Okwara, defected from the AA; Paul Emeziem from Onuimo left the All Progressives Grand Alliance , alongside Ekene Nnodumele of Orsu.

This lawmakers will never find loyalty. People are risking their life's to maintain their the Imo people's mandate. These fools are trying to maintain this in justices done to the good people of Imo state.

That move actually silenced the PDP loving WailingIdiots. Their party members have zero loyalty to party but 💯% loyalty to stomach. No wonder 16 years of their being in power was almost a waste.
