One of the best and worst parts about working in a city that never sleeps is that most likely your friends are always working and not sleeping, too. One way to break the cycle and pull friends across multiple industries with conflicting schedules together is with a labor of love. And that’s exactly what Hellessy designer Sylvie Millstein did when she cast her friends to star in her label’s
campaign. To celebrate the launch, Millstein gathered all the participants, fashion friends, and family for cocktails and a jewelry styling session last night at Bond Street jewelry studio Mish.’s Allie Michler, Brianna Lance, joined featured models Valerie Macaulay, Chloe King, Renata Zandonadi, Erin Hazelton, Zoya Loeb, Tatiana Hambro, and Jana Hofheimer to toast to Hellessy’s first pre-fall collection. Of course, many were sporting some of the looks from the line.
Spotlit with intimate tealights and staged among gorgeous florals, every shot from the lookbook was carefully framed and placed around the buzzing room for the featured model to discover. Surrounded by friends and fine jewelry , many of the participants saw their likenesses in the published campaign for the very first time—what a fabulous debut!
