The team of House Democratic lawmakers who will act as prosecutors in the impeachment trial of President Trump was formally introduced by Speaker Nancy Pelosi in an announcement on Wednesday morning.
As expected, the group of managers will be led by the two House lawmakers most closely associated with impeachment: Rep. Adam Schiff , the House Intelligence Committee chairman who was the face of the impeachment inquiry, and Rep. Jerry Nadler , the House Judiciary Committee chairman whose panel wrote the articles.
Named as managers were several Judiciary Committee members, including Rep. Hakeem Jeffries , a senior member of Democratic leadership, and Rep. Val Demings , who also serves on Schiff’s Intelligence Committee. In addition, Democrats’ big class of freshmen lawmakers will be represented on the team, including Rep. Sylvia Garcia , a Judiciary member, and Rep. Jason Crow , who in September co-wrote with colleagues a consequential Washington Post op-ed calling for an impeachment inquiry.
Notice PEELosy is totally out of touch with the people of America. Saying in her talking points of 70% of Amercia wants impeachment. More like 70% want the Dems to do what their sent to do and that’s work for Americans. They have yet to perform...time to send them home
Well, we see Schiff will be there as a “manager”. Totally 100% bias. Totally without honesty, as he stood in the House and told a completely made up story that was phony, fake and dishonest. Not to mention nothing he has said has proven true. This is the best they have?
Nancy is having trouble speaking. Dems demanding a fair Senate trial after the House farce is hilarious. Nadler needs to diet for his own health.
