The police, on Monday, arraigned one Kehinde Odunlade, 27, in Ile-Ife in Osun for allegedly raping a 15-year-old girl .
The Prosecutor, Insp. Sunday Osanyintuyi, had told the court that the defendant committed the offence on Dec. 22, 2019 around 10:00 am., at Igboya area of Ile-Ife.The Defence Counsel, Mr Olurotimi Oyebuade, urged the court to grant his client bail in most liberal terms. Ruling, the Magistrate, Muhibah Olatunji, granted Odunlade bail in the sum of N500,000, with two sureties in like sum.
It is sad that afterwards he will be set free...
