Iran has admitted its military 'unintentionally' shot down a Ukrainian passenger jet, killing all 176 people on board. A military statement said "human error" is to blame for the crash. The Boeing 737 went down shortly after takeoff near Tehran, only hours after Iran launched a barrage of missiles at US. forces.
Officials said the jet had flown close to a "sensitive military centre" and was mistaken for a "hostile target". Iran said the people responsible will be held accountable and has expressed its condolences to the victims families. Canada demanded a full investigation hours before the announcement, calling for transparency and justice. The US imposed a fresh round of hefty sanctions on Iran after the missile strikes.
Mistake of fact but not unintentionally done.
Crocodile tears, criminal negliance at least.the 737 has a passenger plane squawk signal,Who overrode the missile launch code to ignore it or disable the safety? We know the Russian system has the capacity to recognize a passenger plane,(ex RAAF sources)malice that became murder.
Is that due to they thought it was full of Americans.....
How can you unintentionally shoot down a civilian plane with transponders working?
And it was Trumps Fault you reported playing Democrats saying so just for sensationalised News bites you guys are scum media not real reporting journalists
BS! Always where there is horse shit on ground, somewhere there is the horse!
This is understandable after being aggresively threatened.. Trying to defend their country from further attacks...The death of these innocents falls on trump...BloodOnTrumpsHands
Tks Trump.
Unacceptable in the extreme
Cleaned up the site. Wouldn't give up black box. Were there actually people on that plane?
Human error my arse. Retaliation using civilians is a cowardly but predictable response. Their arse needs to be wiped out. They should have no access to any weapon
Why are large commercial airliners, fitting the profile of large commercial airliners, flying along well known, well documented and well radar-ed large commercial airline flight paths, always get mistaken for not being a large commercial airliner ?
