TSN, RDS, and Hockey Canada today announced a long-term media rights agreement that extends through the 2033-34 season, continuing our long-standing partnership that dates back to 1991. MORE:

The announcement comes on the heels of TSN and RDS’s exclusive live broadcast of Team Canada’s instant-classic gold medal win over Team Russia on Sunday at the 2020 IIHF WORLD JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP, live from Ostrava, Czech Republic.

International events such as the IIHF WORLD JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP; IIHF WOMEN’S WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP; and IIHF U18 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP “Hockey Canada has been an incredibly valued partner of TSN and RDS for decades, and we couldn’t be happier to reach this agreement and to continue to deliver this slate of world-class hockey events,” said Stewart Johnston, President, Media Sales and Marketing, Bell Media, and President of TSN.

Weekly cdn hockey games should be shared with local affiliates, not monopolized by 2 giant cable broadcasters.

TSN when are you going to sign a deal to televise NLL - Canada’s National sport?

Hopefully you can afford a better theme song. No offense, but country music is so depressing, hockey is supposed to be exciting and high energy, not crooning and nostalgic. Just my two cents, hope it doesn't hurt anyone's feelings

CAN YOU BELIEVE IT!!!!!!!!

Thank god! Rogers would screw it up like the NHL.

Any chance you will give the U18 womans coverage it is sorely lacking U18WWC deserve better

Great ! higher ticket prices for watching amateur sports as HockeyCanada continues to profit. They don’t give back enough to minor hockey as costs of minor hockey continue to increase beyond inflation especially in fees for associations like HC

Didn’t let Sportsnet get that one hey..? 😂

Now bring back the NHL national rights in 2026.

Don’t think the world jr’s would feel the same on any other station. 👍🏻🏒🇨🇦

Good. Sportsnet sucks. Wait 5 minutes for the posers to forget don made them sad then hire him.

And I’ll keep watching it on Reddit 😃

Was the centre ice camera extended as well?

Go and get the CHL rights now so we have a seamless Junior experience.

get the rights to the NHL now

This means more HC_Women games in the future, right, TSN? WomensWorlds U18WWC

SportsCentre Well we got that going for us

Gord Miller best commentator in hockey don’t me

tsncamera has your contract been extended?

SportsCentre Ok now announce the firing of Ray Ferraro

Let's make sure the women's game is properly covered. ForTheGame

Now you should stop the blackouts so people in Newfoundland can see the leafs games

👊

I hope you guys fix the blurry video that came with this years broadcasts because it was barely watchable

So what you're saying is the thetsncamera's job is safe for the next 14 years...

Awesome, looking forward to GMillerTSN and 'Chicken Parm' rayferrarotsn for many years to come. Love your play-by-play and colour commentary. Looking forward to next year already.

I hope the rights go back to tsn but I have a feeling dazn will have something to say about that

Us NHL fans are suffering watching Sportsnet it is HORRIBLE and they need to get a clue.

Cameras. More cameras. CAMERAS EVERYWHERE.

Is there anyway you can take over Sportsnet rights?

TSN_PR Great could you afford the same courtesy to Canadian Basketball and sign on with them long term as your next announcement? Canadian Basketball fandom has never been higher in this country

Now go and get the TV rights to the NHL

Good...the coverage is amazing. I’d hate to see what it would be like under the other network. Keep up the good work!

Should TSN buy the rights to the NHL?

Put as many cameras around the glass as you want next year 🙏
