This week, United Methodist Church leaders proposed a split into more than 1 denomination in a bid to resolve years of debate over LGBT clergy and same-sex weddings, according to the church's official news agency. Kenneth Feinberg helped broker the plan.

He'll be most remembered as the first special master of the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund, which, as of November, had distributed more than $6 billion for 32,000 award decisions.Feinberg has also made compensation decisions for victims of Agent Orange, Jerry Sandusky, the Virginia Tech and Sandy Hook massacres and the BP Deepwater Horizon oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.

"A decade ago in an interview with a law magazine at New York University, where he got his law degree in 1970, he said the key to being a good mediator is to get"very, very good" people to help. Also,"Think out of the box, because the problems are out of the box," he said. He said he tries to promote transparency and open handedness and to apply principles consistently. Feinberg, 74, graduated from the University of Massachusetts in 1967 and went to NYU for law school.

What a disgrace.

One of the splintered churches believes pedophilia is a human right granted by god. Sign out front of church? 'ALTAR BOYS WANTED.......APPLY WITHIN'

Hey if thats what it takes. Let the congregation show if they are truly loving unconditionally. It'll show how much they are learning while here. Or not.

So are they now the “Divided” Methodist Church?🤔

Considering that most Christians can't even bring themselves to deal with the fact that they Worship a Man who was born a JEW, and died a JEW, I can't say I am surprised

not so 'united' now oops

How stupid of this church this is what their agenda is why is it so important for them to have the acceptance of the church if they disagree with it only reason is the trying to destroy the church

Doesn’t a split implicitly imply more than one? 🤔

How about the churches focus on not molesting little boys instead. The LGBT community is the least of their concerns.

Why not just start a new denomination and leave the Methodist church out of the equation?

I thought 'god' made the rules You crazy kids!...
