The court was presiding on the case of Jordi Casamitjana, who said he was fired after raising concerns that his employer's pension fund was being invested into companies involved in animal testing.
Has that ever been a thing? Unless the job was that of a bacon taster.
This is a crazy story!! His pension fund used for animal testing , I probably would've brought that up as a concern too!
Why would it even come up? C'mon, have a word with yourselves ffs. Stop telling everyone every detail about yourself, you attention seeking mfs. Nobody gives a 💩 about your personal choices.
doesn't say anything about not shooting them to out of space from a catapult
That’s just nuts
Can they put them in a sack and hit them with sticks?
Vegans are intolerant.
Why would you want to fire someone because of their food of choice
We needed a court for that?
So employers can no longer give vegans the chop?
Why would someone fire them for it waste of court time
Jeez, imagine working at a butchers shop with a vegan. The headaches!
What about coeliac?
What if the job is as a food taster in a stake house?
We need a court ruling for this?! 😳
It’s not a belief it’s facts
Why did this need a court ruling? No doubt it was expensive as well
Boris will soon change that for sure especially when he’s ripped up all our employment rights !
Good. So it should be.
Ethical honest disclosures are grounds for nothing!
When will the veganphobia end! 😂
Surely it's April 1st. Why would anybody fire somebody for being a veggie.. or a meat eater for that matter. Employment law should cover grounds for dismissal and dietary preferences aren't listed.
No shit.
I'd be interested in the material that makes up the clothes he's showed wearing? Methinks he doth protest too much.
Wasting the courts time
Good. No one should be able to be fired for who they are, whether they be black, white, straight, gay, vegan, Muslim, Christian, Jewish, male, female or other, etc. It's a step forwards towards a fairer society for All. There's enough room, we Can all get along.
Simple just don't hire them 😉
That needed a court?
😱but it should be compulsory, the sanctimonious twats
I’ll have to refrain from comment until TitaniaMcGrath is back from holiday and can inform us all after reviewing the judgement.
Ffs! Yet more proof the law lords are out of touch!!
A religion must be compatible with human dignty, EA2010...surely that removes islam as a religion?...
