A recently repaired elevator fell from the ninth floor of a military residential building in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on Monday night, killing all four occupants. The elevator was going up to the ninth floor when it suddenly plummeted. The accident killed Jucelina Santos, the wife of a Navy officer.
Bet it was one of those express elevators.
This always worried me as a kid, until i decided if it ever happened just before it hits the floor, id jump a foot in the air.
