Putra Vice-President Mohd Khairul Azam Abdul Azim said the formation of volunteer unit will pool together concerned citizens who could then share information and even help local authorities in enforcement operations.“Putra, which was founded on the basis to protect the nation’s sovereignty wish to offer some 1,000 of our volunteers to the immigration department to help address this issue,” he said at the party headquarters here today.

He said the party has sent a letter dated December 19, 2019, to the immigration's chief Datuk Khairul Dzaimee Daud and the Inspector General of Police Tan Sri Abdul Hamid Bador to discuss on how best the volunteer unit can aid their respective agencies. Khairul added that the unit could also act as the “eyes and ears” for the enforcement agencies, acting as a pool of informants to the authorities.

“What we also want the authorities to act within 24 hours of the information they received. There is no use we have this unit if the authorities are not serious in taking action or enforcing the law,” he stated.

Bantu polis sekali tangkap judi haram, rumah urut haram, pengedar dadah...

Sangat baik usaha ini. Rakyat sepatutnya membantu kerajaan. Kurang kan berpolitik dan berusaha membantu kerajaan. Macam mana nak jadi sukarelawan?

SharaadKuttan Last time, we even have vigilantes helping out SPR and check voters IC, even refrain them from entering poll centre. Then got other vigilantes checking out on police patrol car. Helping police to check on other police. How crazy is that?

May i know why the focus is only on Chinese and Indian nationals, when you have many Pakistanis, Bangladeshis, Rohingyas, flooding the country illegally in the name of religion and brotherhood? Some Pakis are driving taxis in KL, Sabah. How is tht possible?

here in sabah the local chinese have been screaming for YEARS that the CCP is exporting illegal chinese into the state, at greater numbers than pilaks.

Get Jakim to report up how many of the Muslim marriages involved foreign spouse. Cause without local intervention, how cld foreigners set up stalls & shops in Msia?

“Vigilante” state? Superheroes to the rescue?

They just wanna be in the headlines no matter how stupid it sounds. Maybe it's a good thing, keep them gainfully employed. And if they break the law throw them in jail!

Stop the drama. You are good for nothing base on track record. So don't try to be hero

Maybe purposeless in life!

What rubbish! We have immigration department and Rela for this.

Sabah tu banyak PTI

Lending a helping hand is ok but please refrain from taking law into your own hands. Only the authorities can conduct searches and make arrests.

Track down corruption pls
