It shouldn't be a deal. The constitution hasn't been followed. The rules have not been followed. Pelosi is playing a shell game.
Not gonna happen
The Senate GOP has two choices. Follow the constitutional duty, conduct the trial honestly, hear out the evidence without bias and then remove Trump. Or, accept the House impeachment along with the incontrovertible evidence prima facie and convince Trump to quit before the trial.
What a fiasco this fake impeachment has proven to be.
Heard some clown from the WSJ say Nancy's case was very strong with very compelling witnesses but then went on to say that the senate needed to interview other witnesses to help provide additional evidence of wrong doing. If it is so strong, why more witnesses?

Very optimistic that both chambers will reach a logical conclusion soonest. I should think the Democratic-controlled House of Representatives or Congress would prefer President Trump's articles of impeachment be looked into by the Senate before the election period gets thicker.
