Commercial Litigator Caroline Di Russo says the Democrats are "ecstatic" after some of the 'mud they threw' finally 'stuck' to US President Donald Trump. Donald Trump has become the third United States president to be impeached by the House of Representatives. After a day of debate the House voted on two charges – that the president abused his power and that he obstructed Congress.
A trial will be held in the Republican-led Senate where two thirds of the vote will be required to remove the president from office. Ms Di Rosso said the Democrats are "ecstatic" as they finally managed to get the president impeached. "They have been trying to do this for years," Ms Di Russo told Sky News host Chris Smith. "They have just been throwing mud around hoping that something's going to stick".
