He congratulated Governor Emmanuel and the leadership of the PDP, saying “the fact that the verdict came from the Supreme Court is a clear indication that the All Progressive Congress has no justification to challenge the mandate of the people of Akwa Ibom that was given through a free and fair election.

According to Bassey, ‘‘The victory served is a victory deserved. It is deserved because the 2020 Appropriation Bill was also signed into Law today by the State Governor.” “we are grateful to God today because the Court has proved to the APC that the mandate Governor Udom Gabriel Emmanuel and our dear party is holding is legitimately given to them by the people of Akwa Ibom State.
