An application to have Constable Zachary Rolfe's murder case moved from Alice Springs to Darwin has been refused by a local court.

Lawyers for the officer had applied to have future proceedings heard in Darwin, arguing Constable Rolfe wouldn't get a fair trial in Central Australia. If the matter is committed to Supreme Court trail, Constable Rolfe's lawyers can make another application to move proceedings.
